As the founder of Coven Classics, my connection to comics, manga, and storytelling runs deep. We’re taking a fresh approach to timeless classics like Sherlock Holmes and Frankenstein, infusing them with a femme alt perspective. Our stories highlight strong, independent female characters, challenging the outdated and often misogynistic tropes prevalent in traditional narratives.

"Practical Magick" is our debut NFT graphic novel inspired by "The Craft," features Sad Girls Bar NFTs I own as the lead. We’re using NFTs not just as a medium but as a way to revolutionize how stories are told and experienced, offering both digital and physical formats along with exclusive event access.

But there's a personal element to this venture. These stories echo my own experiences and those of many women and non-binary individuals around me. The complexities, the strengths, and the diverse experiences we live through are often missing from mainstream cinema and comics. Coven Classics aims to fill this gap, creating relatable, strong characters for those seeking genuine representation. Written and illustrated by a woman for other women.

But more than anything, I want Coven Classics to be a sisterhood. A community where women and non-binary folks can come together, unafraid to be themselves and to work on their inner magick. We're not just creating stories; we're building a space where our readers can feel empowered, connected, and part of something truly magickal.

Originally as a part of Buildspace N&W S4, where we began building in public, we've had to slow down our progress. Financial constraints, the real-life commitments of our team members, and a slower traction than anticipated have led us to push back our launch.
