A grassroots initiative offering sustainable funding for decentralized science projects, managed by elected stewards through onchain governance and community feedback, aligned with Gitcoin's values.
The Decentralized Science (DeSci) grants program is a grassroots effort to provide a sustainable source of funding for projects in this space.
Using lightweight onchain governance and tight community feedback cycles, the community of grantees and supporters is represented by democratically-elected round stewards who manage round operations based on feedback from the community.
We see ourselves as an ecosystem partner and look forward to growing the DeSci movement in line with the values established by Gitcoin.
