This project proposal aims to incentivize current DeSci operators and stewards who committed their time and effort to make this DeSci GG20 round a success.

The DeSci QF Q1 24 represents the third iteration of the decentralized science funding round on Gitcoin, aimed at fostering innovation and collaboration within the decentralized science (DeSci) community. Supported by previous sponsors, Research Hub, the Public Nouns community, and Arbitrum, this round was in preparation for several months organized by a diverse team led by community leaders in DeSci, including Tomislav Mamic, Lana Ugrcic, Maria Goreti Freitas, Swift Evo, and Manuel Olariu.

Who is the team?

  • Our team consists of 5 main round operators, including Tomislav (Co-founder, Blocksplit), Lana (DeSci Coordinator, Blocksplit), Maria (Founder, DeScier), Evo (Founder, DeSci Asia) and Manuel (Founder, Deep Venture DAO).

  • Additionally, the DeSci community elected 5 stewards, including Tomislav (Co-founder, Blocksplit), Eva (Co-Founder, AuraSci), Rodrigo (Founder, MesoReefDAO), Twone (Contributor, Uncommons), Bhau (Founder, Archimedes Lever), to review incoming applications and ensure smooth onboarding of new DeSci grantees.
