About Web3Kerala

Background: Web3Kerala has been a leading initiative in Kerala's blockchain and Web3 space for the past 3 years. Our mission has been to empower builders, developers, and enthusiasts in Kerala by providing them with the knowledge, tools, and community support necessary to thrive in the Web3 ecosystem. We have successfully hosted over 50 workshops and 30 events, reaching a diverse audience and fostering a vibrant community in the region.

Achievements:

• Workshops: Over 50 workshops conducted, focusing on blockchain technology, smart contracts, decentralized applications (dApps), and Layer 2 scaling solutions. These workshops have catered to developers, students, and professionals, helping them acquire practical skills and deepening their understanding of the Web3 ecosystem.
• Events: 30+ events, including hackathons, meetups, and seminars, have brought together industry experts, developers, and enthusiasts. These events have facilitated knowledge sharing, networking, and collaboration, creating a strong foundation for Web3 innovation in Kerala.

Proposal Overview: We propose continuing our efforts under the Web3Kerala initiative for the next quarter. This proposal seeks funding to support our activities, expand our reach, and scale our impact within the Kerala Web3 community.

Objectives:

1. Expand Workshop Series: Conduct 10 additional workshops focusing on advanced topics such as DeFi, NFTs, DAOs, and blockchain security. These workshops will target both beginners and experienced developers, providing a comprehensive learning experience.
2. Organize Major Web3 Events: Plan and execute 1 large-scale event (hackathons, conferences, and networking meetups), aimed at fostering collaboration and showcasing local talent in the Web3 space.
3. Community Engagement & Support: Enhance community engagement through online platforms, social media, and regular meetups. Provide ongoing support and mentorship to builders in Kerala, helping them bring their Web3 ideas to life.
4. Collaboration with Global Projects: Establish partnerships with leading global Web3 projects and organizations to bring their expertise and resources to Kerala. This will create opportunities for local builders to contribute to and learn from the broader Web3 ecosystem.

Budget: We are seeking a grant of [insert amount] to cover the following expenses:

• Workshop and Event Costs: Venue rental, speaker fees, materials, and other logistics.
• Marketing and Outreach: Promotion of events and workshops to ensure maximum participation.
• Community Support: Funding for mentorship programs, online platforms, and engagement activities.

Impact: By continuing the Web3Kerala initiative, we aim to:

• Empower more than 500 new developers and enthusiasts in the Web3 space.
• Foster the growth of at least 5 new Web3 projects originating from Kerala.
• Strengthen the local Web3 community and position Kerala as a hub for blockchain innovation.
