Espacio Cripto is the biggest Web3 educational community in Mexico and one of the largest in Latin America. We are one of the most listened-to crypto podcasts in Spanish too.

The quality of our content has fostered and grown a vast community filled with very talented, welcoming, and friendly people in Latin America and other Spanish-speaking countries. We look forward to creating more Spanish content, engaging with the people who have helped this fantastic community become what it is today, and with those who want to learn about the awesome Web3 ecosystem.

We have varied educational content through which people can learn, get exposed to projects, and get a better and more thorough understanding of Web3 ideals, protocols, and technology. Our most important channel is a podcast where we interview influential Spanish-speaking people in the Web3 ecosystem. We've hosted over 150 episodes with guests such as Daniel Vogel, CEO of Bitso; Cami Russo, CEO of The Defiant; Skylar Weaver, Devcon Operations Lead at the Ethereum Foundation; Emma Rose, Chief of Staff at Pantera Capital; and many more. It is the Podcast about crypto and Web3 most listened to in LATAM; it's been several weeks on the #1 in technology in Mexico, in the top 1% shared globally on Spotify in 2022.

We are a community-driven project, so we care about the personal and professional growth of the community and the quality of the content we provide. We've hosted two massive (and very successful) in-person events in Mexico City and some smaller events scattered around Mexico City, Puebla, Mérida, Bogotá, etc. See the after movies of some of our events here: Entrando al Espacio Cripto, 500 people event.

We aim to onboard our community to the most incredible experiences in the crypto ecosystem, helping them along the way. So far, we've granted some of our community members scholarships in coding boot camps to travel to DEVCON VI, we've hosted free coding and career development webinars, and we are continually looking to give our audience the best and most diverse kind of content that will contribute to their growth and learning path.

Our impact

• Engaged Telegram community with more than 1,600 members.

• 9 people were sponsored to attend Devcon 2022 in Colombia.

• Around 30 new builders in the ecosystem (people working on different projects, protocols, co-founding a DAO, or important organizations in LATAM) have been or are part of Espacio Cripto, and we have helped some of them in their path as mentors. Some examples are @AnaTech, now Community Manager in the Arbitrum Foundation; @cryptoreummd, champion at Bankless DAO; @paauu, founder at Metagals.

• We have organized eight virtual classes where at least 30 learned basic coding and three sessions to talk about how to get a job in Web3 and get ready for job interviews.

• More 14 monthly IRL Meetups in México City

• 2 Meetups in Mérida, Yucatán (México,) 1 meetup in Puebla, 2 Meetups in Bogotá, Colombia.

• +15 Twitter Spaces where at least 40+ live people attended and more than 100+ tuned in each.

• 2 IRL Events for 500 people in Mexico City.
