At The Ethereum Cat Herders (ECH), our mission is to foster collaboration, transparency, and growth within the Ethereum community. We focus on educating developers about network upgrades and ensuring effective communication before and after these critical changes. By supporting consensus-building and developing process resources, we aim to bridge communication gaps in our decentralized ecosystem and encourage active participation in crafting composable standards. Our "PEEPanEIP" podcast series connects developers with the broader community, promoting transparency by allowing developers to ask questions and ensuring that proposals receive thorough peer review. We serve as a central hub for EIP and ERC-related information, providing updates on technical developments, proposal statuses, metrics, and insights into the EIP/ERC development process. Our consensus-building efforts include assisting authors in documenting their proposals, supporting new authors, and keeping the community informed about proposal statuses. Through Ecosystem Project Demos, we advocate for public goods by highlighting impactful projects and encouraging further community support. We strive to build a vibrant and inclusive community by providing opportunities for new contributors, offering bounties, and sharing insights into Ethereum development from both core and client/wallet perspectives. We also work to sustain editors and reviewers, ensuring their essential role in our process. Furthermore, we support initiatives like the Women in Ethereum Protocol (WiEP) to promote community growth and diverse perspectives. We hope to double down on our mission in the coming years!
