This project overviews the various work and (intended) contributions to the web3 grant space in the last few years.

That led to working on the State of Web3 Grants Report: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1CFD6ztSh2ggJSO-U3uEea92UVB1cRbvBlA1tfPxLKi8/edit.

We then hosted a small meetup for grant operators in Devconnect Istanbul (I planned it but had to bail on Devconnect for health reasons). That led to us to putting together the Grant Innovation Lab (GIL), which oversees some research, shared resources, and community events. Metagov started hosting a quarterly grant operator call in January 2024, which I lead. I planned and ran the Web3 Grant Summit in Denver (with support from Andrej and Sarah from Deep Work and Val from Metagov). I helped organize the upcoming Grant Funding Forum: https://lu.ma/9ghdktm2. I'm also leading the effort to do a 2024 version of the State of Web3 Grant Report, supporting other research at the GIL, and planning events in DevCon.
