Hyperfiles is an on-chain knowledge graph tool enabling self-sovereign data control, collaborative curation, and permissioned data interaction, focused on scientific and impact evaluations.

Organize everything. Easily compose between different apps and data types. 🔗🗂️🗃️

  • Hyperfiles is a tool designed to facilitate maximum control over your data while supporting maximum collaboration and sharing of information mediated via self-sovereignty. *

Originally developed as "Hypercerts on BOS" during the BuidlBox Funding the Commons Hackathon in August 2023, then extended into "Hyperfiles" during Backdrop Build v3 in November 2023 (logo image for this application).

⛓️ Hyperfiles creates indexed onchain reference objects to map the contents of corresponding data objects, stored anywhere.

Hyperfiles are a superset of the popular EAS attestation standard.

🧠 Adapters are used to establish interfaces with your choice of storage locations. You will soon be able to delegate and receive read, write, owner-level permissions to specific fields and records defined in reference objects.

Together, these feaures enable collaborative data curation, co-governance of digital assets, marketplace functionality, and more. User can even interact with and dynamically render data objects according to permissions they hold.

🧠 We’ve created extensible Schema & Type Libraries deployed to an open social graph contract. Hyperfiles creates a universal, self-organizing, attestation-based knowledge graph for scientific sensemaking, impact evaluation, and empirical hypothesis testing.

⚠️ Hyperfiles is in open-beta and under active development. If you’re interested in contributing seeking additional support from open-source contributors.

Projects under active development:

  1. Hyperfiles: an on-chain knowledge graph leveraging a collaboratively curated schema library for scientific sensemaking and impact evaluation, equipped with adapters to bridge multiple data sources (both on and off-chain). Developed to solve the data composability problems of the OpenCann Marketplace.

  2. NEAR Attestation Service: an implementation of Ethereum Attestation Service on BOS that leverages unique features of NEAR's account model and social graph smart contract. Paired with Hyperfiles, this enables users of the OpenCann Marketplace to close the public goods impact funding loop.

  3. Hypercerts on BOS: an implementation of the Hypercerts standard on NEAR Protocol's Blockchain Operating System (BOS). Developed as a proof of concept tool for listing impact certificates on the OpenCann Marketplace.

Hyperfiles Progress & Impact for Q1-2024

  1. Created a library of schemas for attestations, impact evaluation, and scientific sensemaking that leverage the flexible Hyperfiles core schema. This forms a superset to existing attestation frameworks.

  2. Deployed a custom gateway to support future development and designed an intuitive new UI that integrates UX for the Hyperfiles Schema Library with type standards on socialDB and the Ethereum Attestation Service (EAS) standards.

  3. Established collaborations with multiple DeSci, Refi, and impact evaluation projects to develop attestation and impact scoring frameworks for their communities.
