Goal

Launch an Impact DAO course to teach changemakers how to start and manage Impact DAOs. Through online education and decentralized events (IRL/online) we aim to grow the Impact DAO movement. We’re the publishers of Impact DAO book and the podcast, All About Impact DAOs.

Project Deliverables

• Design step by step course on how to start and build Impact DAO. Online course with SBT certification + downloadable handbook.

• Build a network of Impact DAO folks (train the trainer model) that serve as advocates, trainers and conductors of IRL/online events in their respective countries. Our goal for the next quarters is to seed these nodes in min 4 emerging DAO countries in Asia and LaTam.

• Weekly Twitter Spaces on How to Impact DAO. We aim to leverage Ethereum and Regen IRL events to have an Impact DAO focused track.

Why an Impact DAO Course

Impact DAOs are the future of organizing for causes. Social impact organizations of tomorrow will be formed on the internet. It's therefore important we equip the changemakers with the right knowledge and tools. Also our research of 12 mature Impact DAOs showed that Impact DAOs are very different from other categories of DAOs. Impact DAOs align around meaning over money and its therefore important we create a custom course on Impact DAOs.

Impact DAO Media was founded with the support of Gitcoin GR14 in June 2022. Since then we've published a book available for free at https://impactdaos.xyz/ and podcast, All About Impact DAOs https://impactdaos.buzzsprout.com/. We're currently underway with our 2nd research of 16 mature impact daos to be soon listed in the Impact DAO book.
