Kernel is a peer-learning environment advancing education for web3, hosting over 1,800 fellows, launching 200+ projects through eight-week collaborative blocks using open-source educational tools.

Kernel is an open peer-learning environment, building educational infrastructure for the local corners of the internet.

Starting with Genesis Block in May 2020, Kernel has run seven “blocks”, learning with more than 1,800 Kernel fellows who have built 200+ web3 projects.

Each block has been ~300 people in size, lasts eight weeks, and is oriented around Kernel Fellows having a transformative learning experience in a peer-to-peer environment.

To host fellows well, Kernel has built a) an open source, modular syllabus and b) a variety of open source tools which facilitate peer-learning in Kernel and beyond. We expect that these tools will propagate well past Kernel.

You can find more about what people say about Kernel, the syllabus, and the people we learn alongside here: https://www.kernel.community/en/love/.
