LexDAO is a guild of legal engineering professionals, united to innovate and bring the traditional legal settlement layer to code, and coded agreements to the masses. We believe that everyone deserves access to justice provided in a quick and efficient manner. If legal services were easier to use, verify, and enforce, we could live in a fairer world.

Building as we operate, and exercising proof of concept as we continually self-improve, LexDAO is constantly engaging with internal governance improvement, grant operations, DAO governance tooling, accounting, legal entity status, an more. This has led to approval as a 501c6 organization as a Wyoming Unincorporated Nonprofit Association with on-chain governance.

LexDAO maintains lexCorpus, a repository of LexDAO member-created developer tools, primitives, and ongoing efforts.

LexDAO also acts as a platform for startup and developing legal engineering projects and protocols. KaliDAO, LexClinic, Curia, and other projects have come out of LexDAO.

LexDAO strives to be chain, protocol, and jurisdiction agnostic. Historically, however, LexDAO has engaged most within EVM-compatible networks with a particular affinity to Ethereum, Arbitrum, Optimism and Gnosis.
