🌊 Previous Gitcoin funds for example have funded litter pickups in Malawi, Kenya, Colombia, Puerto Rico, Philippines & Nigeria

🌊 For this round, you will be helping fund litter pickups in South America, Africa & Asia.

HOW IT WORKS

📸 Send us a picture of the litter item you picked up and threw out. Post it in our Discord. We then send Litter Tokens directly to your crypto wallet that can be swapped for USDC (1 LTK = $1.31).

LESSONS LEARNED

💡 Over the past few months, we've discovered new ways to fund our project. The primary sources being grants (like Gitcoin & Giveth) and creating a partner network of sustainable businesses that agree to give a percentage of their profits to fund Litter Token litter pickups.

⏰ Moving forward, additional funding will go towards funding more litter pickups (ongoing), establishing a nonprofit DAO to accept corporate donations, and developing a technology that allows us to better verify & reward pickups (by end of 2024).
