Our civilization stands at a pivotal point as technology, climate disruption, health crises and social tensions transform society in unpredictable ways. Incremental change cannot address such systemic global risks. We urgently need a fundamental redesign of the societal paradigms that govern our institutions and way of life. We dare to ask the question -

The time has come to collectively dream, learn, connect and forge the systemic shifts humanity needs to thrive. The Masterminding Eden gathering offers a space to create - not tweak - operating frameworks attuned to people, planet and prosperity. For the future wellbeing of all life on Earth.

Masterminding Eden is a collaborative initiative to design a conceptual model and master plan for a climate resilient, regenerative, self-sustaining city which will be the starting point of a network of such cities globally.

To attain this we are bringing together people from diverse fields for a month-long in-person multidisciplinary mastermind in Spring 2025 on the Olympic Peninsula of Washington State USA. We have room for approximately 300 attendees.

Our goal is that the city we collaboratively design will:

• Provide for the needs of it's inhabitants and industry in a way that is regerative to the surrounding ecosystem with as little negative impact as possible.

• Provide shelter designed to withstand extreme weather

• Grow food and medicinal plants to sustain the population

• Have a circular economy and resource/manufacturing chain.

• Include cutting edge advanced technology in all areas.

• Have a thriving culture of human community, fulfillment, purpose, joy, health, interconnectedness and the shared values of natural law.

Through collaboration, knowledge sharing, and project acceleration, our group aims to create a framework for future cities that supports an advanced ecological civilization.

We will be facilitating the event as a combination of Inquiry (Ephemeral Group Process), Mastermind and Hackathon.

• Integrating physical infrastructure and digital technologies

• Creating closed-loop systems for energy, food, waste, water, resources etc.

• Designing for disaster resilience, ecosystem restoration, and long-term sustainability

• Exploring new models of governance, economics, social services, transportation etc.

• Utilizing advanced simulation software to test different scenarios

The core team of contributors consists of scientists, engineers, architects, entrepreneurs, and other leaders spanning fields like renewable energy, agriculture, technology, design, Artificial Intelligence, policy, finance and more. The conceptual framework developed will serve as a foundation for building real-world regenerative communities and cities.

80% of attendees will commit to staying the whole time while 20% will be visiting to teach and contribute as they can. There is learning and education, and everyone is contributing/working toward a common goal creating a solid feeling of community and camaraderie.

Residents will be provided with transportation, accommodation, three delicious meals a day and plenty of intellectual and social stimulation. Our team is putting special emphasis on community building and coherence. Residents will also have time in their schedule to keep up on remote work. Our residents will be from all over the world. While we realize that not everyone can come to the United States we will be as inclusive as possible. Our principles are to create systems that help all of humanity and life on Earth, through open source, creative commons and a return to the commons.

Both scheduled sessions on the agenda and spontaneous activities emerge throughout the event. The varied formats provide structured learning while making space for organic collaboration, connection, and insights to arise.

We are going to play, connect, dream, and relate with authenticity and compassion. When you are doing what you love, with purpose and meaning and a sense of shared vision - it no longer feels like work. And while we will likely be diving deep and accomplishing much - the time will fly by.

We believe that this will be a historic moment in time - a turning point where humanity united for common good for people and planet.
