• Problem

  在這個快速發展的數字時代，許多人已經擁抱了一種數字遊民的生活方式。他們以自由和靈活的方式工作和生活，透過遠程工作、自由職業和數字營銷等方式，在全球各地經歷世界。儘管這種生活方式充滿了無限可能性，卻也帶來了種種挑戰。

  也有很多人想要走出去，但是還沒有鼓起勇氣，或是缺少資金和規劃，所以一直躊躇不前。

  我們相信，數字遊民們是當今世界中最具創造力和潛力的人群之一。他們對世界充滿好奇心，勇於探索，並擁抱多樣性，具有包容性。這些特質讓他們成為社會的推動者，對創新和變革發揮著關鍵作用。

  數字遊民們面臨許多挑戰，包括孤獨、心理壓力、文化衝突和財務不穩定等。因此，我們決定發起數字遊民基金，以支持這個特殊的社群。

  In this rapidly evolving digital age, many individuals have embraced the lifestyle of digital nomadism. They work and live in a free and flexible manner, experiencing the world globally through methods such as remote work, freelancing, and digital marketing. However, despite the endless possibilities this lifestyle offers, it also presents various challenges.

  There are also many people who desire to embark on this journey but have not yet mustered the courage or lack the necessary funds and planning, causing them to hesitate.

  We believe that digital nomads are one of the most creative and potential-rich communities in today's world. They possess a deep curiosity about the world, a willingness to explore, and a passion for diversity and inclusivity. These qualities make them agents of social progress, playing a crucial role in innovation and change.

  However, digital nomads face numerous challenges, including loneliness, psychological stress, cultural conflicts, and financial instability. Therefore, we have decided to launch the Digital Nomad Fund to support this unique community.

  • Income challenges: Digital nomads may lack a stable source of income, which can lead to the need to seek reliable job opportunities and income sources in certain situations./收入挑戰：數字游民可能没有稳定的收入来源，因此在某些情况下，他们需要寻找可靠的工作机会和收入来源。

• Solution

  為了幫助數字遊民更好地探索世界，我們決定發起數字遊民基金，以支持這個特殊的社群。

  我們相信，通過「數字遊民基金」，我們可以為數字遊民提供更多支持（不論是資金還是社區），激發更多創新和改變。我們希望這個基金可以成為一個催化劑，幫助數字遊民實現他們的夢想，同時為社會帶來積極的影響。

  In order to better assist digital nomads in exploring the world, we have decided to launch the Digital Nomad Fund to support this unique community.

  We believe that through the "Digital Nomad Fund," we can provide more support (whether it be financial or community-based) to this distinct community, sparking greater innovation and change. We hope this fund can serve as a catalyst to help digital nomads realize their dreams while simultaneously bringing about positive impacts on society.

  • 資金支持：数字游民可以通過申请Matters Lab 的數字遊民基金，通過相應的提案和社區投票來贏得一筆啟動資金，支持合理的遊牧生活/Funding Support: Digital nomads can apply for the Matters Digital Nomad Fund and win a startup fund through relevant proposals and community voting to support a sustainable nomadic lifestyle.
  • 社交网络：我们將聯合數字遊民社區，在站上沉澱數字遊民經驗，让数字游民之间建立联系，分享经验和资源。/Social Network: We collaborate with the digital nomad community to curate digital nomad experiences on the platform, enabling digital nomads to connect with each other, share experiences, and resources.
  • 全球生活：我们将提供「提供數字游牧生活手冊」，幫助數字遊民更好的安排出行計畫、調整生活節奏、檢視財務狀況等。/Global Travel: We will provide a Digital Nomad‘s experience handbook to help digital nomads better manage their global travel, finance and social.

• Plans for Funding

  • Matters Lab 團隊會提供數字遊民基金的基礎資金，也會有合作社區贊助，另外加上Gitcoin的贊助，形成了整個數字遊民基金的總獎金池 / Matters team will provide the foundational funding for the Digital Nomad Fund, along with sponsorship from partner communities and additional support from Gitcoin19, forming the total prize pool for the Digital Nomad Fund.
  • 數字遊民們在活動開啟之後（计划在12月），可以通過 Matters.town 站上的徵文活動提交計劃書，通過站上公開的互動投票機制，最終篩選出多名贏家，獲得對應的數字遊民獎金/ After the launch of the initiative(Plan in Dec), digital nomads can submit proposals through the writing activities on the Matters platform. Through the platform's transparent interactive voting mechanism, multiple winners will be selected to receive corresponding digital nomad grants.
  • 獲獎者在未來的旅途中，在 Matters.town 站上通過文字的方式跟大家分享經歷，並能獲得站上用戶的打賞，從而積累更多的旅途收益。/ The awardees will share their experiences with the community through written content on Matters.town during their future journeys and receive rewards from platform users, thus accumulating additional travel earnings.
