Paralelni Polis is a nonprofit organization that has served as an educational and community blockchain hub in Prague for the last decade. It houses a number of concepts, including the Institute of Cryptoanarchy, the world's oldest crypto-only cafe, and a free and publicly accessible Ethereum Archive node.

Polis was founded with the idea of digital freedom in mind, encouraging a parallel decentralized economy, and crypto-economic use, experimentation and education as we work forward a more free society in the 21st century. The center provides public with open space to learn, collaborate and explore. It has served as a hub for hackers, artists, biologists and environmentalists, activists, philosophers, crypto communities, AI researchers, and more.

As a nonprofit that operates year round, Polis is home to an educational café, a co-working space (Paper Hub) filled with like-minded peers from various communities, the Bordel Hackerspace, and the Institute of Cryptoanarchy. The Institute plays host to meetups on Ethereum and related technologies, DeFi, Bitcoin, and hoists events and conferences, including ETHPrague and the Hacker's Congress.
