Environmental scientist Paul in Koh Phangan aims to enhance the Gitcoin community by hosting Gitcoin Radio slots, creating Telegram groups, and leading local meetups and monthly onboarding events.

Hello community! I’m Paul, based on Koh Phangan. I'm an environmental scientist, space and crypto enthusiast, and the founder of EcoSynthesisX, ReFi Phangan, and GreenPill Phangan.

Personally, I have no doubts about the importance of developing the Gitcoin community. I see no other way for founders and public good creators to coordinate better together. We are pioneers setting examples of self-sovereignty and significant responsibility (which I believe involves building the Gitcoin community) for the globe.

I've had the pleasure of meeting many awesome people and collaborating on exciting projects during Grant 18! That's the power of this community.

Here's a summary of some of my retroactive impact:

  • Co-hosted some slots on Gitcoin Radio during Grant 18 under ReFi Phangan.
  • Organized the first unofficial Gitcoin Phangan meetup to meet in person with Rod Mamin LunCo. You can find details here: Link
  • Created the Gitcoin Phangan telegram group with Rod Mamin LunCo: Link
  • Onboarded over 20 people to Gitcoin Passport and Grant and keep going
  • Started Regen Full Moon monthly event with onboarding workshops: • day part Link • evening part Link

Moving forward, I aim to support the development of the Gitcoin community and want to share my proposed activities:

  • Co-hosting Gitcoin Radio before and during Gitcoin Grant 19.
  • Serving as a welcoming hub for the community on Koh Phangan.
  • Integrating Gitcoin Passport and Grant into our fundamental onboarding program.
  • Organizing events for promotional, educational, and dance activities 🕺
  • Actively onboarding during GG19.

Furthermore, I also indirectly support the development of the Gitcoin ecosystem through GreenPill pilot initiatives.

Thank you!
