Performed Sybil analysis for Gitcoin grants across multiple rounds, flagged suspicious accounts, built datasets, released a Dune dashboard, and contributed to community data-sharing efforts. Seeking grant for retroactive recognition.

I have been deeply involved in ensuring the integrity of the Gitcoin grants by performing sybil analysis. This work is crucial in maintaining the trust of our community and ensuring that funds are directed towards genuine projects and contributors. I am applying for this grant to recognize the retroactive work done in this capacity.

I conducted a comprehensive Sybil analysis for the beta round, the citizen round, and the GR18 round. This involved identifying potential Sybil attacks and flagging suspicious accounts. I worked closely with Umar and Conor to analyze the results of the Sybil analysis. Our combined efforts ensured a more robust and accurate identification of potential threats. This work is essential as it allows for the detection of new attack vectors and informs Gitcoin about new ways attackers are voting on the rounds.

I also build data sets and publicly release them for anyone to build on top of the data without the need and headaches of retrieving and curating the data. I initiated a new channel within the OpenData Community dedicated to sharing and helping each other in the Sybil detection task.

I have built a Dune dashboard for GR18.
