A diverse group of artists from the Canadian Psychedelic Summit is creating engaging, educational works on psychedelics through animations, puppet musicals, and immersive visual experiences.

Emerging from the Canadian Psychedelic Summit at Hollyhock, a vibrant collective of artists is embarking on a journey to create engaging, educational, and artistic works centered around psychedelics. This diverse group includes:

• Tru, who proposes five interactive animations with soundscapes inspired by Buddhist concepts and the 5-MeO-DMT experience, highlighting the interconnectedness of all phenomena. • Ajay and Vanessa are developing a puppet musical that will involve multiple artists and puppets in a live theatre performance. The musical will explore psychedelic themes through enchanting storytelling. • Crystal Dawn, who is animating a star people encounter experienced during an ayahuasca ceremony, bringing these transformative visions to life. • Dane Cree, who is collaborating with Rick Doblin on an animated vision for net-zero trauma. • Justin Ogilvie, whose abstract, painterly languages evoke altered states of consciousness, inviting viewers into immersive visual experiences that transcend the ordinary and engage the subconscious mind.

Together, these artists aim to produce not only entertaining but also deeply educational works, offering insights into the transformative potential of psychedelics.
