An accessible way for anyone to own and protect a piece of Africa’s wilderness. R3WILD is creating the first global community-owned wildlife reserve, enabling anyone, anywhere to become a custodian of wilderness areas and assets.
We are a passionate team of conservationists with a focus on restoring and rewilding degraded land, connecting it to existing wildlife ecosystems to preserve and expand the habitats of endangered species, reduce CO2 and uplift impoverished local communities through eco-tourism.
R3WILD is the web3 initiative to accelerate our on-the-ground rewilding and conservation efforts. We aim to democratize access to wilderness assets through fractional ownership, so that anyone, no matter their location, can become a custodian of a block of land in Africa. Blocks from 1 sqm to several acres will be available on our marketplace as NFTs, linked to the physical block of protected R3WILD land. Landholders will be granted access to the R3WILD ecosystem, where they can be involved in real-time wild experiences, real-life events, and rewards with our brand partners.
Through our network and current partnerships, we have access to approximately 15 million acres of land across various African countries that are in need of protection. We’re on a mission to revolutionize the conservation landscape and empower planet-conscious individuals to actively participate in the causes they support. We are currently in the process of building our land marketplace to launch our pilot project in 2024. Donations raised from GG19 will be put to work here! We would love to have you as part of our journey!

A brief look into our world…
Amakhala Game Reserve – Where it all started. Amakhala began as our family dairy farm and was our first rewilding success story. Grant and William Fowlds were integral to the establishment of this old farmland into a world-renowned wildlife reserve, home to Africa’s Big 5 and visited by guests from across the globe.
Dr Will Fowlds on a white rhino procedure.
In Africa we are waging war against rhino poaching and fighting a continuous battle against poachers. A large part of our rewilding initiatives involve implementing anti-poaching units to protect these beautiful animals.
The Loziba Wildlife Reserve and the surrounding Loziba Community Conservancy, is one of our current initiatives that aims to bring communities and animals together for the benefit of both.
