ReFi Prague is a recently launched local node of ReFi DAO in the Czech Republic, with the aim to build and expand the local eco-community, and to help fund and support local regenerative projects, such as eco-villages, permaculture projects, vertical farms, community gardens, community-supported agriculture programs (CSAs) and similar.

Starting with a capital raised from this Gitcoin round, our node envisions further funding through crowdfunding and private investments. The immediate plans involve expanding the network, nurturing and incubating grassroots projects, and actively seeking funding for local regenerative initiatives. By fostering an ecosystem of collaboration, the project aims to ensure the long-term viability of sustainable ventures.

What we have done so far:

We launched the local node during the Prague Blockchain Week, where we hosted an opening ceremony for the local regenerators and entrepreneurs.

We are writing a blog and running a podcast about the regenerative movement, which includes the "I SEE" model - a conceptual framework that integrates the principles of individual happiness and authenticity, social connections, economic/energy systems, and ecological alignment towards a regenerative future.

We foster collaboration between many local individuals and entities, recognizing the importance of tighter connections between the public and private sectors.

Our ultimate goal is creation and innovation in line with the principles of nature, which includes biomimicry approaches and designs, building of supportive networks, sharing, and striving for personal happiness of everyone involved.
