Valucop Global is an edtech platform that is focused on onboarding 1 million Africans to the Blockchain technology by simplifying the career-readiness learning curve. Between 2020 and now, Valucop Global has grown its community following across platforms to a cumulative amount of 11.7k.
There is an educational and financial gap limiting African talents from accessing global opportunities available in the Blockchain industry. The Blockchain technology is built by the people and for the people. And it presents several opportunities that Africans can leverage to grow and contribute to economic development.
Many Africans, including Nigeria, have heard about “crypto” but they have zero idea about how the Blockchain or crypto will disrupt existing systems to make it better. Young Africans don't understand how it works or how it can benefit them, therefore, they don't see the need to be a part of it.
In a bid to sensitize the Nigerian youths on the basics of the Blockchain and crypto trading, Valucop Global launched video courses and live sessions. With the goal of teaching them how to use various dapps and platforms; and also show them how to build careers with their transferrable skills.
Valucop Global offers internship (to help them gain hands-on practical experience), hybrid non-tech courses (self-paced and mentorship) through membership plans, free tutorials, Scholarships in partnership with Blockchain Institutions for example Althash University.
Our course currently cuts across Branding, Marketing, Communication, Project Management, Growth etc. We have recorded testimonials of Nigerians who accessed became job ready and were able to land Crypto Jobs.
We are currently expanding to Kenya, Uganda, Ethiopia, South Africa, Ghana. Anyone can access free resources on our YouTube channel. We emphasize risk management to make sure everyone in the community stay safe in the crypto space.
