We envision an equitable future where everyone has the power to bring their ideas to life.
We believe in challenging existing systems that are not accessible to all.
We believe that entrepreneurship is not reserved only for those who have access to higher education (prestigious universities), network, and wealth.
At Venture to the X, we’re co-creating a new system—collective venturing.
We strive to be accessible, collaborative, and transparent in all we do: content and media, founder community, and funding opportunities.
We’re a multimedia venture network for founders (think media company x venture studio). We help early-stage web3 founders tell their stories, learn and collaborate together.
The traditional VC model is not accessible.
Problem
The traditional VC model applies to less than 1% of founders; yet, private institutional capital dominates research, media, and public attention. Most founders are self-funded, and the majority of would-be founders never start due to lack of access to funding.
Unmet Needs:
- Access to education
- Access to network
- Access to funding

Solution
Community members will innovate and market together. We will use the power of media to make the content accessible to more people and bring visibility to projects.
- Education — Produce engaging, high-quality educational content and media.
- Network — Curate a collaborative and connected network of founders, funders, and supporters.
- Funding — Provide a living stipend to founders-in-residence.
Progress
In May, we launched our inaugural show, Builder to the X, to support founders by giving them a platform to tell their stories and share the wins and challenges of their first year building in web3.
By the end of the year, we plan to launch our second show, highlighting the journeys of 1-3 people launching a web3 business around the theme of “Building for an Open Web.” We will guide them through the process of ideating and validating their ideas. Video content will be released on Youtube, Lenstube, and other social media, documenting the process, interviewing participants, and explaining project ideas.
- Education — Provide a structured process and facilitate collaboration and learning by building together to gain knowledge, experience, and skills.
- Network — Provide a fun and supportive environment for people to learn by building together in public.
- Funding — Provide a small stipend to participants, made possible through this grant.
Let’s build an equitable future together.
Budget
The grant will be used for content and video production and a stipend to the participant(s).
- $12,000 funded — feature 1 founder in 5-10 videos
- $24,000 funded — feature 2 founders in 10-20 videos
- $36,000 funded — feature 3 founders in 20-40 videos
If the grant received is significantly less than the funding goal, then the funds will be reallocated for content and video production for Builder to the X.
