0xBlob is a Korean crypto education initiative that defines crypto education as a 'public good.' We are committed to providing genuine crypto learning experiences that closely align with the actual practice and the core ethos of the community.

Under our mission of “nurturing a sound Korean crypto ecosystem’, we provide with the comprehensive education to empower individuals, with a deep understanding of blockchain/crypto.

Why we started 0xBlob?(Problem)

Reflecting on our initial foray into Web3 education, we identified several pain points that resonated with us:

1. The abundance of fragmented information : It hindered a comprehensive understanding of the Web3 industry.

2. A surplus of Web3 resources from a technical perspective It left limited material accessible to those outside specific roles, such as developers.

3. Language Barriers : The availability of cutting-edge Web3 trends and quality educational resources predominantly only in English posed challenges

Certainly, in Korea, many individuals contributed by translating, interpreting, reinterpreting, and creating valuable content, allowing non-developers to engage with diverse perspectives and learn. However, there persisted a need for a more straightforward, rapid, and systematic educational approach that could guide newcomers in stepping into the Web3 world with ease.

As our fascination with the industry grew, and our desire to forge a career within it became clear, we encountered three persistent pain points akin to those we faced when embarking on our initial cryptocurrency studies:

1. A widespread lack of comprehension regarding the crypto and Web3 industry, often limited to a superficial understanding of the term 'coin'.
2. Even among those who attempted to study with genuine interest, easily accessible resources tended to prioritize distorted information promoting speculation. This led to economic losses and ensnared individuals in misguided perceptions.
3. Entrepreneurs steering the Web3 industry using blockchain technology frequently neglected or were unable to delve into the profound implications the technology brought about within society.

These intertwined factors seemed to give rise to a detrimental cycle of misconceptions about the industry. This, in turn, impeded the inflow of valuable talent and investments and could potentially result in excessive regulations that hindered growth.

What we are building? (Solution)

Most of the crypto-related courses provided in Korea up to now have largely focused on:

1. Developer-oriented blockchain coding education.
2. Education covering only specific topics/fields.
3. Education that only informs about how to use without explaining the 'why'.

Therefore, we offer a program that comprehensively covers crypto history, culture, technology, societal implications, and future potential. This approach enables us to provide a multidimensional understanding of foundational crypto knowledge.

We believe that crypto education involves spreading knowledge about the ethos as well as technology itself. Establishing it as a public good means making high-quality resources accessible to all in Korea. Creating a community around Crypto Education fosters collaboration and informed decision-making, contributing to the responsible growth of the crypto ecosystem. We as an initiative provide a multidimensional understanding of foundational crypto knowledge.

we conduct the following distinct classes:

1. Theory and Dapp Practical Exercises: We combine theoretical knowledge with hands-on Dapp usage, allowing participants to experience the actual web3 internet environment.
2. Deep Examination of Societal Impact: We provide in-depth contemplation of the potential societal changes that this technology can bring about.
3. Simplified Explanation with Intuitive Analogies: Unlike developer-centric explanations, we utilize straightforward explanations with intuitive analogies to break down barriers.
4. Covering Industry History, Philosophy, Infrastructure, DeFi, NFTs, DAOs: We offer a comprehensive view, addressing industry history, philosophy, infrastructure, DeFi, NFTs, and DAOs.

Through these tailored methods, we aim to provide a differentiated educational experience that encompasses practical application, profound insight, and a comprehensive understanding of the crypto landscape.
