A system creating liquidity pools with unextracted gold reserve tokens to fund environmental restoration and decentralized finance, avoiding mining-related GHG emissions and ecological damage.

ALTERNUN

DIGITAL EXPLOITATION

A system that uses token technology to generate liquidity pools collateralized in UNEXTRACTED gold reserves and develop ReFi Projects.

Nature as an asset class - GHG avoidance - GHG sequestration - ESG - SDG

"Over 170 million hectares of native forest are endangered by mining."

Our protocol captures the value of unextracted gold reserves in liquidity pools built based on specific mining projects, meaning that the number of tokens comprising them is finite. This halts the mining process, thereby avoiding GHG emissions and protecting the environment from the destruction required for mining minerals.

To better understand the impact, let's compare the extractive regular model with the digital exploitation:

EXTRACTIVE MODEL DIGITAL EXPLOITATION

As you can see above, the extractive model depletes gold resources while generating significant environmental and social liabilities. On the Digital Exploitation side, you'll notice a new bar representing the liquidity pool. The liquidity pool enables us to create regenerative projects (blue bar) that will deliver value to investors, long-term opportunities to communities, and restoration of the environment, thereby creating an infinite cycle.

ALTERNUN proposes executing projects with 50% of the liquidity focusing on REDEFI (Regenerative Decentralized Finance) projects that generate economic, social, and environmental profitability while conserving gold mining reserves. The execution of projects also utilizes token technology to improve traceability and transparency in resource execution.

LIQUIDITY ALLOCATION

The Liquidity Pool has been carefully designed to maximize value generation for all stakeholders while ensuring enough resources are retained to materialize the collateral if necessary.

Each liquidity pool constitutes a DAO, decentralizing decision-making, with only 20% directly executed by ALTERNUN to ensure compliance with mining contract requirements.

We directly visit gold mines and conduct due diligence to understand if there are prospects to work with the ALTERNUN MODEL.

CARBON CREDITS AND OFFSETS

The primary output of our vision is environmental restoration, measured in offsets. We aim to avoid a Carbon Tunnel and develop models alongside different organizations to measure ecosystems, biodiversity, water bodies, among others. The offsets created will be part of a token that any individual or corporation can use to compensate their needs.

Using dMVR, we can continuously offer information to users about the protection of the mining area and progress of the projects.

Profits generated from the projects are distributed among token owners (80%), ALTERNUN (15%), and 5% is allocated to fill up the liquidity pool to create a compensation fund system to follow the international gold price and develop new projects.
