Indonesia and its growing crypto space
Indonesia is a country of 270 million people with a large working-age population and with clear and crypto-friendly government regulations. The number of crypto investors in Indonesia has reached 17.25 million people as of June 2023. More than 50% of them are dominated by the younger generation with an age range of around 18 to 30 years old.
Interestingly, cryptocurrency tops Indonesians' investment list based on risk but is also the most popular investment among the younger generation. What is worrying is the lack of knowledge among the younger generation about cryptocurrency itself.
Air Pollution In Jakarta
In recent months, Jakarta, the vibrant heart of Indonesia, has been grappling with a pressing issue - declining air quality. The city's residents have been experiencing the adverse effects of pollution on their health and environment. This concerning situation serves as a stark reminder of the urgent need for collective action to combat climate change and rejuvenate our planet. Many Indonesians predict that coal-fired power plants and vehicles are the cause of pollution.

Learn And Plant - Web3 Climate Action is our first initiative aimed at engaging and onboarding Indonesians into the Web3 space through Learning, Tree Planting and Social Impacts activities.
Program Goals:
Engagement
Increase Indonesian web3 enthusiasts' (NFT Creator, Airdroper, Trader etc.) important role in fighting climate change by appreciating them for their social and environmental contributions.
Education
Bridge the gap between Web3 enthusiasts and environmental awareness by providing engaging learning activities.
Tree Planting
Combat climate change and enhance air quality by organizing tree-planting events in and around Jakarta.
Social Impacts
Promoting the collective action of Indonesian Web3 enthusiasts (NFT Creator, Airdroper, Trader etc.) to create a ripple effect and increase the positive view of the public towards blockchain and cryptocurrency.

Collaborating with other Indonesian web3 communities and media and utilising our Galxe space to host a social task campaign to spread awareness and attract participants to the program
Education
Utilize our Galxe space to host learning activity
Tree Planting
Collaborate with local environmental community/organizations and nurseries to source native tree saplings
Social Impacts
When participants complete the tasks mentioned in points number one and two above, they will receive limited edition NFT collectables or badges. This NFT will be minted on the Base Chain and determine how many trees to plant (Maximum 1000 trees).
If more than 1,000 people minting this NFT, for example, 5000. These 5,000 people can be proud to have the NFT that proves that they have collectively donated 1,000 trees.
