Ostrom is a new methodology for calculating and improving the economic value of nature. Our goal is to empower communities to control their future and make environmental regeneration financially viable in the global south.

Ecosystem services like clean air, fresh water, and flood mitigation are essential to life. But who pays for them, and how ? At ostrom, we're pioneering a new approach to make fungible nature market solutions.

• Our Methodology disaggregates Ecosystem services and assigns unique valuation techniques to them.
• This approach enables communities, project developers, and companies to unlock new revenue streams and invest in nature based solutions. Over-time, we see ostrom being the mechanism that fixes the "leaky" carbon project cycle. A cycle where value is lost at numerous points over time. By coevolving our methodology with tested DMRV; we are developing robust standards for tracking ecosystem value. Stacked with Carbon credits, ostrom will unlock the full potential of nature-based solutions to address climate change.

THE TEAM

We are a team of Environmentalists, Planners and Engineers, located in different parts of the world. Our team came together organically over the past year and we formally started working on ostrom in 2023.
