ENS Wayback Machine is a decentralized application that enables users to access and visualize historical IPFS content associated with ENS domains, helping researchers, historians, and curious minds explore the evolution of the decentralized web.
The Problem
As the decentralized web grows, it becomes increasingly important to keep track of changes and access historical content related to ENS domains. Traditional archiving tools like the Internet Archive's Wayback Machine are not designed specifically for ENS domains and IPFS content, creating a gap in the availability of archived decentralized web content.
The Solution
The ENS Wayback Machine fills this gap by providing users with an easy-to-use platform for accessing historical versions of IPFS content associated with ENS domains. By leveraging blockchain-stored IPFS links, our dApp allows users to search for specific ENS domains and browse archived site versions, enabling them to track changes over time and retrieve lost content.
Key Features
- Access historical IPFS content associated with ENS domains
- Search functionality for specific ENS domains or URLs
- Mobile support and refined design for seamless browsing on various devices
- Open-source project with an active GitHub repository
