Creating a mentoring program to train young data scientists in statistical consulting, specifically to collect, analyze, and visualize data for Gitcoin's analytics initiatives.

Greetings Gitcoin Citizens! I'm Lawrence from Omni Analytics Group applying for Gitcoin Citizens Round 2. You've probably seen my work around the DAO as, over the past 3 years, I've had my hand in several analysis such as the Trust Bonus, developing the initial weights for Gitcoin Passport, creating grants dashboards, visualizing QF allocations and defending Gitcoin against sybils using all types of similarity analysis. I even have a data science course that prominently hosts case studies on several past Gitcoin data analysis...

....that's in the past though, this is about the future :)

I'd like to create a small mentoring program where I find and foster young, data savvy web3-netizens in the ways of statistical consulting, with a focus on assisting Gitcoin. They would contribute by collecting, analyzing and visualizing data, particularly from the newly rebranded Grants-ETL data hosted on regendata.xyz.

The benefits to Gitcoin are easy to see:

  • there would be direct contributions to Gitcoin's analytics initiative
  • new data scientists would be on-boarded and deployed directly into Gitcoin's eco-system

What do you say? Do I have your support? Of course I do, donate today!
