Proposal for a series of Boston-based events focused on regenerative cryptoeconomics, seeking funding for venues and materials to foster community growth and innovation in Web3.

We are thrilled to announce our proposal for more IRL meetups after our promising debut at ETHBoston2023. As a rapidly evolving local chapter in the Greater Boston area, our members represent a broad spectrum of regenerative cryptoeconomics, encompassing land stewards, DAO organizers, behavioral economists, game theoreticians, fintech advocates, academic initiative directors, and builders of regen protocols, L1s, and L2s. Our mission is to expand our reach and integrate more individuals into the world of Web3 and regenerative cryptoeconomics, addressing urgent coordination failures and creating solutions for them together, live and in-person.

To fuel our mission, we propose to host a series of events in the Greater Boston area. This will include hackathons, lectures, talks, design/tech sprints, and symposia, providing platforms for sharing innovative ideas, media, literature, and chapter collateral. We envision these gatherings as opportunities to express gratitude, share knowledge, and foster innovation within our community.

We humbly request your support through this Gitcoin Grant application to cover the costs associated with these events. These expenses include venue fees and dissemination of literature, such as printing and shipping. Any remaining funds will be allocated to merchandise and supporting the development of chapter-specific projects initiated by our community members.

Our aspiration is to make these events catalysts for ideation, solution generation, and the creation of novel regenerative crypto tools. By providing platforms for testing new mechanisms to address coordination failures, we believe that we can contribute significantly to the broader crypto ecosystem.

Crypto can and is regenerating the planet.

We express our sincere gratitude for considering our grant application and appreciate your support in our mission.

For individuals in the Greater Boston area interested in participating, please provide your contact information in our Discord and check out our CharmVerse page as well for all of our chapter ideations!🌿☀️📍👥
