GreenPill #Mexico Local Chapter: "Regeneración Comunitaria Mexicana"
The mission of the Green Pill Mexico Community is to empower and coordinate all Green Pill enthusiasts in Mexico. This initiative will help develop the two current chapters in Mérida and Ciudad de México, which are already working together to grow and nurture participants around the Green Pill philosophy.
The proposal will help create the Mexico Core Team and will develop an onboarding program and educational tools, operating activities, and required tooling for new members of the community:
-
Operational toolkit: Notion Team plan, domain name for website.
-
Community activity support: small honorarium for contributors, printing materials for meetups, library materials for workshops.
-
Bounties support: setup up a bounty program (QF) focused on the research of issues, seeking to develop regenerative projects and use cases in our community.
-
Partnership program: Develop a recruiting and educational program with Universities to onboard technical and non-technical students to the regen space.
All the material developed by the Mexico chapter will be open-sourced for everyone to use.
With this grant, we will contribute to growing the community in Mexico and help onboard non-web3 native people into the Green Pill philosophy by hosting community meetups, workshops, and educational programs to demonstrate the real-world use cases of Web3 tools and the Green Pill philosophy.
Mexico is becoming a huge spot for the web3 community as it grows every day, and we want it to be a beacon for all LatAm to adopt the GreenPill philosophy.
Funds will be administered via Multisig by
- Emmanuel Nogueira (CDMX Chapter)
- Rodrigo Núñez (Yucatan Peninsula Chapter)
- Sejal Rekhan (Green Pill Global)
