About Me

Hi there! I am Ivan Molto and as a Fullstack engineer, hacker, and meme creator, I have made a lot of projects and wacky things.

I started hacking at Gitcoin in early 2018, and since there I have been participating, and supporting the growth and development of the Gitcoin Ecosystem. I have also been a contributor to several workstreams of the Gitcoin DAO.

About this Grant

This grant is a mix of retroactive (Dune analytics dashboards) and proposed future work (SpritePG, an onchain World).

Retroactive Work

I created a couple of Dune analytics dashboards focused on Gitcoin Identity Staking and Gitcoin Passport and Ethereum Attestation Service in Optimism.

Future Work

The Public Goods Network (PGN) and the Superchain open a lot of new opportunities to share knowledge and engage even a wider community with the work of the Gitcoin contributors and citizens.

My proposed work is to create SpritePG, an onchain world built in the PGN to engage the community and showcase educational, promotional, and data resources from the Gitcoin ecosystem created from Gitcoin contributors and citizens.

An onchain world has also created a traction of newcomers, more wallet addresses, and more transactions in other blockchains (OPCraft in Optimism). But in the case of PGN, it would also mean more funding for Public Goods. And also an increase in the number of new citizens and developers in the ecosystem.

SpritePG will be built using MUD, React, and ThreeJS in the PGN. A real onchain world!

To be released in January 2024, these are some of the tasks to be done:

• Multi-citizen with onchain position
• Procedural world generation and onchain terrain generation
• Onboarding other Gitcoin contributors and citizens to showcase their work within SpritePG.
