https://jobstash.xyz is a Crypto Native Job Aggregator provided as a public good to the entirety of the Crypto Community. We don’t charge for job post listings, and we curate a large dataset of crypto native organizations.

We discover and publish job opportunities that would otherwise not get seen because some smaller organizations are inherently bad at hiring. We are there to support small and large organizations equally.

We curate a large dataset of crypto native organizations, projects and jobs, making this data available to anyone to use.

  • Index ±800 organizations within crypto
  • Deliver ±120 job applications on average a day

We aim to have near-complete coverage of the entire crypto ecosystem, and we have recently ingested data for 8000+ organizations and are in the process of manually reviewing this data. As with most good things, it takes time to get it just right.

Short Term Goal

We intend to build a new public good, which can be summed up as “Linkedin for Crypto”. The problem we are trying to solve is that there is no scalable and automated way to perform due diligence on current and past teams, and we keep resorting to trusted solutions which involve things such as DM’ing random telegram accounts and emailing protonmail emails, waiting for a positive reference only to repeat the process the next time someone is looking for a job.

We solve this problem by building a system which leverages a set of onchain attestations using EAS (Ethereum Attestation Service). We solve the empty box problem by seeding our userbase with the ±25k crypto native developers for which we have provable data on, and allow these users to attest for other roles which are typically not covered by any dataset, such as marketing, devops, bizdev, ops, hr, community manager, and so on. The right of attestation is then passed on to these users, who can then attest others.

This will allow everyone in the industry to have an attestation which proves which organization they have worked with in the past, creating an anonymous, verified and decentralized Linkedin for Crypto. This will allow hiring teams, grant evaluation teams and Analysts to make better informed decisions around the teams they are evaluating, while increasing the transparency and safety of the crypto ecosystem.

What is the Objective of JobStash?

The core focus is complete coverage of the Crypto Ecosystem by aggregating data on Crypto Native Jobs, Crypto Organizations, and their Projects. We present Projects and Organizations in a complete, permanent and authoritative way by showing critical metrics such as TVLs, Hacks, Audits and Raises.

Why Should I Support JobStash?

Our platform is fully independent, bootstrapped, and supports open-source DeFi protocols, networks, and other off-chain infrastructures in need of staff. As our platform is provided as a public good, we currently don’t require monetary contributions for listings or placement bounties. Your contribution allows us to keep building, and to keep ourselves free, neutral and unbiased.

Being independent and not having a pay-per-post model allows us to keep safety high by only ingesting job opportunities from organizations that are credible in the space, thus avoiding incidents caused by submissions from anons which contain malware, as is currently happening

Our Unfair Advantage

Simply put: this is not your average job board. Our platform is fully automated and ingests data from any data source in the web. We’ve create agnostic scraping infrastructure that ingests jobs for any career site, allowing us to have much broader coverage than any competitor.

As part of our data efforts, we have ingested the entirety of crypto GitHub and are able to identify developers that work or have worked for any protocol at scale.

Problems We Are Addressing

  • Hiring in crypto is different than hiring in web2. We need dedicated tooling to be successful as an industry, and we are at the forefront of building this tooling as a public good. Linkedin is full of incorrect data, and CV’s are not to be trusted, as AI is now found generating CVs and cover letters.
  • Candidate due diligence at scale is hard, and hiring teams are not up to the task as they are not technical. We are building dedicated tools that help them work more efficiently while keeping the industry safe.
  • Difficulty in identifying legit and fake candidates at scale

  • A set of EAS attestations that allow users which have the right given by verifiable data to post attestations about their current and past colleagues
  • Building a frontend for this tooling

Our diverse, globally distributed team consists of 5 devs and a designer.

Our founding team: @DuckDegen, a Software Engineer with 17 years of Web2 Experience building all sizes of projects from Startup to Enterprise and in various roles from Engineering to Sales, from Developer Relations to Founder.

Use of Funds

Funds received will cover infrastructure bills and support our engineers in working full-time without external influences. Our costs include GitHub, OpenAI, Google, hosting, and various software vendor licenses. We aim to compensate our contributors fairly, considering living costs in their regions across Europe, Southeast Asia, and Africa.
