Nounish Writers Cohort: An initiative by Anaphant, coordinated with Rene, which has brought together more than 20 writers in a new territory called Amigos on the T2T platform. This innovative proposal has created a vibrant community of writers, reviewers, and participants. We awarded a prize of 100 OP and 250 USD to the best contributors, recognizing their exceptional work and dedication. This cohort has been a fantastic experiment, fostering creativity and collaboration. Podcast

A few years ago, we wouldn't have considered ourselves podcasters. Back then, we were just starting to explore this medium. However, over time, we have progressively become more professional, refining our skills and investing in better tools and equipment. We've incorporated advanced video editing tools, improved our sound quality significantly, and upgraded to high-quality equipment to ensure our content is top-notch.

Our platform has evolved into a dynamic space where we share our courses and hosted Twitter Spaces, creating an engaging and accessible way for others to learn about web3 alongside us. We strive to make learning easy and entertaining, providing valuable insights and fostering a community of like-minded individuals interested in the evolving world of web3.

Despite our advancements, we have encountered some challenges, particularly with the tools we use. Our primary platform isn't web3, which we are passionate about. However, we've faced limitations regarding file uploads. We regularly produce content in 4K resolution, but the maximum upload limit on Zora is 2 gigabytes. This restriction has compelled us to continue using YouTube for our high-quality video content, as it allows us to maintain the standard our audience expects.

Looking ahead, we have ambitious plans to further enhance our offerings. In the medium term, we aim to improve our audio quality even more and explore the possibility of releasing audio-only versions of our content where appropriate. This will not only cater to a broader audience but also ensure that our content is accessible in various formats.

However, to achieve these goals, we need additional resources. We require assistance with editing and more time to dedicate to producing the highest quality content possible. Your support would be invaluable in helping us realize these plans. With your help, we can continue to innovate, improve, and provide our audience with the best possible learning experience in the world of web3.

Current Champaign's.

We are currently working with two outstanding projects that bring us immense joy and fulfillment. Over the past few months, we have been deeply involved with Push Protocol, assisting them in reaching new horizons and expanding their impact. Our efforts with Push Protocol have focused on enhancing their reach and effectiveness, ensuring that their innovative solutions gain the recognition and user engagement they deserve.

More recently, in the past month, we have also partnered with the Octant app, a project dedicated to advancing knowledge and support for public goods. This collaboration has been particularly exciting as it aligns with our mission to promote and support initiatives that contribute to the common good. Through our work with Octant, we are able to leverage our expertise to amplify their impact and reach.

Our campaigns with both Push Protocol and Octant app are comprehensive and multifaceted. We create and distribute specific newsletters that detail their projects, highlighting their features, benefits, and the progress they are making. These newsletters are crafted to engage and inform our audience, ensuring they understand the value and potential of these projects.

Additionally, we provide hands-on support for users of these apps. This includes guiding them through the functionalities, offering tips and best practices, and addressing any questions or concerns they may have. Our goal is to ensure a seamless and positive user experience, fostering greater adoption and satisfaction.

To attract new users, we employ a variety of strategies, including targeted outreach, educational content, and promotional activities. By showcasing the unique advantages of Push Protocol and Octant app, we aim to draw in a diverse and engaged user base, contributing to the growth and success of these projects.

Working with Push Protocol and Octant app not only allows us to support their innovative endeavors but also enriches our own understanding and capabilities within the web3 ecosystem. These collaborations are a testament to our commitment to driving progress and making a meaningful impact in the realm of public goods and decentralized technologies. We look forward to continuing these partnerships and exploring new opportunities to support and promote groundbreaking projects in the future.

Future Events:

BootCamp: In addition to all this fantastic activity, we also have something planned for the month of August with our friends from Cryptoconnection, a Bootcamp specialised in governance and how to start taking your first steps. We would also love to receive support for this great event, which will allow more people to get into the unity and integrity of protocols.

Another Cohort. We believe that the success was fantastic, so with the proceeds, we plan to encourage our writers to continue with this motivation and commitment.

IRL Events in ETH Mexico with the help of our grant from Octant:

September 12th. The icing on the cake, we will talk about public goods, financing strategies and sustainability. It is a fact that all of us must know the scope of our proposals but also what we want to do.

Decentralized Applications:

1.- We did a community round, where Ethereum México MxWeb3 CryptoConexión Frutero Club Karios Research ETH Venezuela WomenBiz Open Web Academy Cryptochicks Manatial Blanco Green Pill Mexico participated, where we started to create some applications. Among them a Telegram Bot to make attestations on the Arbitrum chain. The pilot is launched on ETH, Base and Optimism Testnet, but for its maintenance and further health we need funds to keep it running. This will help us at DeSci so that anyone who has a medical item, written physically or electronically, can have a certificate of ownership based on an attestation. This is as long as it complies with the rules of CCO and intellectual property of the tester.

2.- We also have a Staking platform, where 10% of our income is earmarked to fund public goods, this can be found at Staking4.eth.limo, a place where the profits will go to fund scholarships, events, publications or anything that is a public good.

3.- Future plans: As we know, we still need to keep building, so we want to offer our friends the open source code of these two applications so they can start using it and, if possible, launch their own versions.

The DeSci Proposal

For this proposal, we consider it important to continue to carry our weekly newsletter. Writing about science, reviewing scientific articles and issuing constructive criticism based on scientific data is not easy, however in recent months, we have dedicated ourselves to publish 8 articles of scientific interest, reviewing articles from Nature, New England Journal of Medicine and Journal of American Medical Association, as you know these journals are not free, with an average cost of 25-30 USD for article and we have used our resources to access the articles and publish our opinion and review in an easy way. All these reviews have the character of a literature review, in plain language and with scientific intent. As we continue to grow, it will become more complex and specialized.

We also helo to make DeSci governance accesible.

During the exhilarating heights of the previous bull market, we discovered the immense value of forging alliances, one of the most notable being with VitaDAO. This collaboration allowed us to broaden our horizons and connect with a community deeply rooted in decentralized science (DeSci). Now, with our audience significantly expanded, we are eager to take a more active role in governance. Our goal is to immerse ourselves in the decision-making processes and stay informed about the latest developments and innovations within the DeSci ecosystem.

Organizing DeSci events presents a unique set of challenges, especially for a community as small as ours. Despite these hurdles, we are experiencing rapid growth, which fuels our determination to overcome these obstacles. To ensure our continued expansion and increased engagement, we plan to participate in larger, more prominent events. By networking and collaborating with other key players in the space, we aim to elevate our community’s presence and influence within the DeSci movement.

We believe that by actively participating in governance, we can better learn, contribute, and shape the future of decentralized science. This proactive approach will not only benefit our members but also enhance the collective knowledge and progress of the broader DeSci community. Together, we can drive innovation, foster collaboration, and achieve our shared vision for a decentralized and democratized scientific landscape.

What will we do with the funds? Sustainability. As you well know, we are a public good, so we do not have a business strategy, but we do have health in numbers. 15% of what we are awarded goes directly to the staking coffers that we have in Staking4, to finance public goods, scholarships, salaries or if we do very well, funding rounds as well, at the end of the year. 25% goes to the future writers of the cohort, for diverse topics that can keep us for several months publishing what they like the most, of the real interests that our crypto worlds have. 40% goes to continue with the development of DeSci within Be-DAO, continue publishing on decentralized science, pay for the highest caliber journals and in the medium term start looking for publishing in decentralized journals. 20% goes to the Bankless Nation team, to survive through this tough market and to keep the community happy and growing, using part of this funds to compensate in a retroactive manner our contributors.
