The Network of Trust is a blockchain-based skills graph for Token Engineering (TE) practitioners, serving as a decentralized accreditation alternative. The network will be co-created by TE practitioners, with value derived from the network graph as a whole and generated by applications incubated by commons investments. Stakeholders will benefit from commons ownership, with shared trust serving as a Common Pool Resource.
Project Goals
- Create a TE Skills Graph held by a commons, co-created by TE practitioners
- Develop a decentralized accreditation alternative for TE practitioners
- Build applications such as subject matter directories and marketplaces
- Increase visibility of TE and TE practitioners
- Establish public trust in TE as a public good
Work Done So Far
Our team participated in a hackathon where we built a p2p network for ecological impact by combining attestations with the Ecological Benefits Framework (https://github.com/bhargavkakadiya/eth-denver-ebf). This experience demonstrated our ability to create attestation networks and deliver useful applications, as evidenced by our top 15 finish in the ETH Denver hackathon.
Outcome of Grant and Budget Allocation
The grant will enable us to deliver the following:
- Proof of concept schema(s)
- Public self-attestations
- 2-3 Interest Groups or snowball cohorts
- Limited number of attestees
- PoC skills directory
With more funding, we aim to achieve:
- More Interest Groups or snowball cohorts
- Private, off-chain, base attestations
- Public, composed, on-chain attestations
- Peer-to-peer attestations
- MVP Marketplace for Superchain
- TE Audits and TE bounties

Conclusion
The Token Engineering Network of Trust aims to advance the field of token engineering by creating a decentralized skills graph and accreditation system for TE practitioners. By fostering collaboration and nurturing the growth of trust in the network, this project will contribute to the growth and sustainability of the Token Engineering Commons. Our team's experience and expertise make us well-positioned to deliver on this vision and create a valuable "Commons Good" for the TEC.
