Add metadata to blockchain transactions using Nostr for enhanced context and transparency, making blockchain data meaningful and accessible. Use txinfo.xyz to annotate transactions collaboratively.

Add metadata to any blockchain transaction using Nostr.

Blockchain transactions are cryptic by nature - just addresses and amounts. But behind each transaction is a human story: a donation to a cause, a payment for services, or a gift to a friend. TxInfo lets you add this missing context, making blockchain data more meaningful and accessible to everyone. Built on Nostr, it's decentralized, censorship-resistant, and always available.

As we talk more and more about putting public money onchain (we should!), we need a way to collaboratively annotate those transactions.

Also useful for all projects raising funds on Gitcoin that want to provide more transparency on where their funding is coming from and where it is going.

How to use?

Simply change the etherscan.io (or arbiscan.io, celoscan.io, gnosisscan.io, ...) domain to txinfo.xyz/:chain in the url to get a user editable list of transactions.

E.g. https://arbiscan.com/address/0x08e40e1C0681D072a54Fc5868752c02bb3996FFA 👉 https://txinfo.xyz/arbitrum/address/0x08e40e1C0681D072a54Fc5868752c02bb3996FFA

Also works with ENS: E.g. https://txinfo.xyz/ethereum/address/uniswap.eth
