Research project analyzing optimal entity types for DAOs, focusing on formation, taxation, liability, and reporting, to be published as open-source.

DAO Mystify is a nonprofit research project that unpacks the complexities of DAO entity formation, taxation, liability, and reporting implications.

This research is the result of one DAO architect’s attempt to answer a simple question - “what entity type should I choose to form my DAO?” This question first resulted in bewilderment, and then blossomed into an evolving, yet comprehensive research project.

This initial body of research will be published as an open-source, public good. Qualified co-authors will be welcomed to expand and steward this ongoing research.
