Founder of a non-profit and NFT platform promotes positive action for the planet, educates on crypto's environmental impact, supports green initiatives, and engages in community outreach and radio hosting within the crypto space.

My name is Donny, also known as Jerri. I'm the founder of the non-profit charity Wetrybetter.com and the Jerri.wtf NFT platform. These two projects aim to motivate people to take positive actions for the planet. While we focus on this primary work, we also promote cryptocurrency adoption. However, it takes time for many community members and projects to embrace crypto. We have web2 projects on Wetrybetter.com, so we need to convince environmentally-conscious individuals that crypto is not harmful to the climate. Dealing with misinformation is a real challenge! Nevertheless, I'm happy to share that Wetrybetter has successfully onboarded several hundred individuals through gradual education and a step-by-step process. Our next goal is to onboard them to the amazing world of ReFi and Gitcoin, requiring a minimum passport score.

As a Web3 native project, Jerri.wtf actively engages on crypto Twitter as an ambassador for ReFi. We spread the Green Pill Gospel and reach out to Degens and influencers in the Web3 crypto and NFT space.

Jerri.wtf supports Gitcoin directly and the Solarpunk Guild by being a member and hosting GITCOIN COMMUNITY RADIO. Perhaps you've heard of it, and if not, please take note and let your friends know to drop by during the Gitcoin rounds. We are live 24/7, offering opportunities to learn, promote, share, and connect with this amazing community.

During the Beta round, I didn't receive a grant, but I spent countless hours in the radio, coordinating transitions between different accounts, and filling in during quieter times.

In the latest GG18 round, I had the honor of being a Steward of the Solarpunk Guild page, which remained live 24/7 throughout the entire round. As a steward, I ensured that the space was available for hosts and co-hosts to have their programs and guests speak. This involved 4-hour shifts, and I'm proud to say that I didn't miss a single one. I even covered for a few others when they had other commitments. Additionally, I hosted a space for one hour every day for 10 out of the 14 days. Although I had signed up for the full two weeks, when my grant wasn't initially approved, I left the host seat open for others whose grants were live so they could receive recognition for their projects.

If given the opportunity, I intend to continue as a steward of Gitcoin Radio, as well as host and promote all the Gitcoin rounds and projects within the space. This community resonates with my solarpunk values and my Refi mindset. "Public Goods are Good," as someone once said, and I couldn't agree more.

I will also continue my work on social media and traditional media, writing articles and creating content to spread our message. This will complement our ongoing efforts to onboard Eco-conscious contributors from the web2 world of Wetrybetter.com and integrate them with our passport score system.

So far, I haven't been able to participate in the Gov. forums during my Gitcoin journey. However, I plan to change that. I'm not sure yet what I can contribute, but at the very least, I'll continue learning and growing within this community.
