Training African student developers to build public goods on PGN network, including educational meet-ups, hackathons, and a web3 education dApp featuring and promoting the Gitcoin Passport system.

TRAINING

I'll raise student developers in Africa who'd build Public Goods products on the PGN network.

We already have a network of University Student Developers in Nigeria who we're raising to build with Solidity, Pyteal, and much more.

We're adding building on the PGN network to our developer training curriculum, some of the training activities would include:

  1. Using PGN - Community Activities
  2. Building on PGN - Developer Activities
  3. Bridging in and out of the PGN Network
  4. dApp ideas that support Public Goods

MEET-UPS & HACKATHONS I'll organize developer quarterly meet-ups that educate developers about the Gitcoin ecosystem and onboard them into the PGN network.

These meet-ups will also have mini-hackathons to spotlight dApps that promote public goods.

WEB3 EDUCATION dAPP & GITCOIN PASSPORT By January 2024, we'd begin development on the B<>rder/ess app that educates web3 enthusiasts about web3 and how to build on web3.

PGN would be one of the Layer 2 chains featured and introduced to newbies to the web3 ecosystem and web2 developers looking to transition to web3.

Access to the dApp will also require the use of Gitcoin Passport, and also double as a resource for educating users on Gitcoin Passport scores, Sybil prevention and how they affect Gitcoin Rounds.
