Earthist is a community-driven initiative emerged in 2019, dedicated to regeneration and public welfare. Our mission now is underpinned by leveraging the eight forms of capital to enhance ecological health, support public goods, and initiate a global transition towards regenerative living starting from our own bioregion.

Central to the efforts of our core community have been the 'Decentralize Hemp' project, which embodies our commitment to seed sovereignty by advocating for the freedom of life through the preservation and control of seed diversity. Alongside this, we focus on the cultivation of hemp, chosen for its environmental benefits and versatility. This initiative supports small and family-run hemp farms by aiming to establish micro-processing centers, regenerating ecosystems, and improving the hemp supply chain. (As a fulfillment of our goal to preserve biodiversity, we've collected and securely stored four varieties of heirloom cannabis seeds in our seed bank, ensuring these precious genetic resources are safeguarded for future generations. Furthermore, we've successfully planted and harvested over 10 million seeds in collaboration with our network, across 6 different regions.)

After years of experiencing the escalating metacrisis, we recognize the need for a proactive shift in our core approach. Our mission now goes beyond merely transforming agriculture; we are seeking to revolutionize our relationship with the Earth by adopting regenerative practices, advocating seed sovereignty, building resilient communities, and empowering ecosystems with data and accessible investment. Through collaboration with Regen Network, we aim to utilize innovative tools and technologies like Ecocredit Modules with bioregional projects to drive a global shift towards regenerative living as a whole and overcome the challenges faced by Nature in solidarity.

Recent progress and continued efforts in the past year(ongoing to previous);

✅Launching a Social Regen Cooperative to challenge local legal boundaries for regeneration and public goods marks a significant step in our mission. Prior to this initiative, our community has established two NGOs: one focused on medical cannabis awareness and the other on promoting Forest Schools to foster ecological awareness among children and adults ✅ Along with the Decentralize Hemp project, we are venturing into medicinal mushroom cultivation to improve the health of our communities and researching ways to use its waste as organic fertilizer for farms. ✅ Exploring the potential of agrohomeopathy in olive cultivation, as a critical income source for many farmers and a pathway to transition towards regenerative practices. ✅Our DAO is exploring cosmos network's DAO tooling as an innovative experiment.With plans to implement $REGEN, we aim to enhance our governance model, reflecting our commitment to environmental stewardship. We have also launched our $REGEN Validator, you can now stake with us to support high-quality ecological projects worldwide. ✅We have started our work and research on blending Ahimsa (non-violent) silk with hemp fiber in collaboration with EkoDoku Coop aiming to further enhance our supply chain's value through innovative material integration. ✅ We have started a regenerative cotton project in collaboration with another Endaoment Initative ✅ Joined the Regen Network as a Community Staking DAO, amplifying our voice in governance for regenerating Earth. Our engagement will allow us to support bioregional projects through Regen Modules, boosting collaboration and mutual support. ✅ Launched a Quadratic Funding Round for community contributors ✅ Hosted over 15 community events and some unique workshops ✅ Opened country’s first Hemp Store in Istanbul, and working actively on the possibilities of a physical space to connect.
